.....................................................................................................................................
Answer:
Almighty Allah says in the Holy Quran about rights of neighbors:

Surah Nisa-36

There are many glad tidings for those who treat neighbors nicely.  There is a Hadith in Jame’ Tirmidhi:

Translation: It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr (May Allah be well pleased with them) that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:  The best friend in the opinion of Allah Most High is the one who is best for his friend and the best neighbor is the one who is best for his neighbor.  (Jame’ Tirmidhi, Vol. 2, Pg. No. 16)

There is another very detailed Hadith in Jame’ Tirmidhi on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him).  Please see one part from it:

Translation: You treat your neighbors nicely, you will become a (true) believer.  (Jame’ Tirmidhi, Vol. 2, Pg. No. 56)

Harming or hurting a neighbor is a very grave sin about which strict warnings have been given.  There is a Hadith in Sahih Bukhari Vol. 2, Pg. No. 889:

Translation: It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Shuraih (May Allah be well pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said:  By Allah, that person is not a believer!  By Allah, that person is not a believer!  By Allah, that person is not a believer!  He was asked: Who is not a believer

And Allah The Most Compassionate and The Most Beneficent knows best.
