TELLING LIES TO BENEFIT SOMEBODY

Lying is a great sin (Gunah Kabira) and there are severe warnings for liars. However, lying is allowed in some situations. For the safety of life and property and to remove enmity between 2 persons, lying is allowed, so that the hearts are cleared of enmity and a spirit brotherhood is maintained, as given in the Hadith:

Translation of Hadith: The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: The person who describes something against fact to strike out a compromise between 2 people, has not lied.

However, even if a false oath might stop a big disturbance, it is not allowed, as there is no Hadith supporting this.

Lying to guide someone out of the darkness of disbelief into Islam is not permissible. If the true words of Allah Ta'ala and the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) do not affect somebody, then how can a lie guide that person?
