Haram and Halal money

<meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="Content-Type" /> <meta content="Word.Document" name="ProgId" /> <meta content="Microsoft Word 12" name="Generator" /> <meta content="Microsoft Word 12" name="Originator" /> <link href="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\mohi\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_filelist.xml" rel="File-List" /> <link href="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\mohi\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_themedata.thmx" rel="themeData" /> <link href="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\mohi\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_colorschememapping.xml" rel="colorSchemeMapping" /><style type="text/css">  </style> <p class="MsoNormal">The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said that if anyone eats Halal food for 40 days and there is nothing mixed with it, then Allah Ta’ala fills that person's heart with the<span style="">  </span>Noor<span style="">  </span>of<span style="">  </span>Ma'arifah (realization of Allah SWT) and will cause the fountains of wisdom to burst forth from that heart.<o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">If any person eats Haraam food, Allah Ta’ala does not accept any Fardh and any Sunnah from that person and also said: The flesh which is nourished with Haraam food is fit only for Hell.<o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hadhrat Ibrahim bin Adam (May Allah Ta’ala shower His Mercy on him) said that no one achieved any high station with only Salaat, Fasts, Haj, Zakaat and Jihad, only that person achieved greatness and only that person was blessed with Ma'arifah , who earned his living through Halal sources and realized what he eats. This is because with even a mouthful of Haraam, neither the Dua is accepted nor any desire and yearning of worship is developed. Understand it well that the base for every good act is Halal living. Even if you have the privilege of standing up in prayer for the whole night and fasting, even that is beneficial except that what you eat is earned through Halal sources.<o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hadhrat Sahl bin Abdullah Tustri (May Allah Ta’ala shower His Mercy on him) said: The person who eats doubtful food for 40 days, his heart becomes black and having doubtful food involves the whole body in sin; with eating Halal food, the whole body is involved in worship and is blessed with guidance towards good.<o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hadhrat Shaykh Abul Abbas Nahavandi (May Allah Ta’ala shower His Mercy on him) used to make caps and it was his habit that he would sew each cap and sell it in 2 Dirhams. Out of that, he would give 1 Dirham to the person who would come first to him and out of the 2nd Dirham, he would buy a Roti and share with a Darvesh . He never sold a cap for more than 2 Dirhams and never started sewing one cap before selling the other.<o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">One of his disciples ( Mureed ) who was affluent ( Sahab-e-Nisaab ) asked him, whom should I give Zakaat to? He said: Give it to that person about whom you are sure that that person is needy of Zakaat. That Mureed went away. On the way, he saw a blind beggar in tattered clothes. The Mureed gave him 1 Ashrafi (gold coin). The next day, he saw that blind man telling somebody else: Yesterday, a generous person gave me a gold coin, I went to the tavern (bar), took wine and drank it along with so and so singer.<o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">That Mureed went back to his Shaykh to inform him of this. Before he could say this, the Shaykh gave him a Dirham and told him to give it to the first person he would meet. That Mureed came out and gave it to the first person he met. That person took the Dirham and went his way. That Mureed also went after him. That person went into the jungle and threw away a dead partridge ( teetar ) which he had hidden in his clothes. On seeing this, the Mureed asked him the reason behind this. He said: Today, it has been 3 days since my family ate something and I do not like the humiliation of asking somebody. I went out in search for a living and found this dead partridge in the desert. I picked up with the though that I would feed this to my family. You gave me a Dirham and I threw it away. The Mureed again came back to the Shaykh and wanted to relate this to him. The Shaykh said: You don’t need to relate that to me. Understand clearly that the money earned from Haraam sources will be spent in taverns and the money earned from Halal earning saves a Syed and his family from eating dead meat.</p>
