What should we do when somebody sins in front of us

<meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="Content-Type" /> <meta content="Word.Document" name="ProgId" /> <meta content="Microsoft Word 12" name="Generator" /> <meta content="Microsoft Word 12" name="Originator" /> <link href="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\mohi\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_filelist.xml" rel="File-List" /> <link href="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\mohi\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_themedata.thmx" rel="themeData" /> <link href="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\mohi\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_colorschememapping.xml" rel="colorSchemeMapping" /><style type="text/css">  </style> <p class="MsoNormal">Hadhrat Noor Bin Abdullah (May Allah Ta’ala shower His mercy upon him) said:</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">In whichever community, if the affluent and respectable persons are present and in spite watching the people involved in some sin, they being powerful didn't objected over it, then Allah (<i style="">Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala</i>) makes them disrespected.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hadhrat Sahl Bin Abdullah (May Allah Ta’ala shower His mercy upon him) said:</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Whosoever person is potent over his/her soul, except others and executes the permissible and prevents oneself from the prohibited acts commanded by Allah (<i style="">Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala</i>) only up to his/her being and whatever the sins he/she views in others, hates them through heart, then whatever the acts of permissibility and prohibition is necessary for him/her to carry out, he/she executed them.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hadhrat Aoun bin Abdullah (May Allah Ta’ala shower His mercy upon him) said:</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Committing the acts prohibited by Allah (<i style="">Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala</i>) is a sin, since the person who committed so, transgressed the limits prescribed by Allah (<i style="">Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala</i>).<span style="">  </span>But the orders commanded by Allah (<i style="">Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala</i>) to do so; if a person doesn't executes them, then it’s a serious sin, since that person acted against the permitted order.<span style="">  </span>However, whatever sins are committed by a person due to carnal desires is pardoned when he/she repents humbly and seeks forgiveness from Allah (<i style="">Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala</i>).<span style="">  </span>But the sins committed because of pride and boastfulness is never pardoned even though the sinner seeks pardon and forgiveness.<span style="">  </span>For instance, as the sin of Satan (devil), this was committed by him with pride and boastfulness and was never pardoned.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hadith: The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi Wa sallam) said:</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Where useless things are carried out, standing there and not questioning them is incorrect, because this questioning will never decrease your age and your sustenance.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">And further said:</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">The person before whom a sin was committed and he/she got angry over it, is like the one who wasn't present there at all and the sin that took place, was in his/her absence, and if that person didn't get angry over or objected it, though he/she wasn't there actually, is like the person who was actually present there at the place of sin and the sin took place in his presence; and this act is against the Amr bil Ma'aroof (permissible and prohibited acts specified by Allah Ta’ala).</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">And also stated:</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">That person before whom a sin is committed and he/she maintains silence over it then it will be assumed regarding that person that he/she is agreeable with that sin.<span style="">  </span>In which ever community sins have became very common and the people of that community neither do they restrain themselves from committing sins and nor do they repents or seeks forgiveness, then Allah (<i style="">Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala</i>) descends its torment on them, irrespective of sinners or the innocents, everyone gets destructed in it."</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hadhrat Imam Ghazali (May Allah Ta’ala shower His mercy upon him) said:</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Whosoever person closes his door after entering it, then without his/her permission entering it and questioning him/her or putting one's ears on that door with curiosity to find out what's going on there, is also incorrect.<span style="">  </span>Instead, the act which Allah (<i style="">Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala</i>) concealed, it should be kept hidden only.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">And in addition He (May Allah Ta’ala shower His mercy upon him) said:</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">If you find some apparent evil deed, you educate him/her virtuous deeds and acknowledge them with good.<span style="">  </span>If a person doesn't act upon your advice due to his/her ignorance and starts getting angry on you and mistreating you and uses filthy language, you ignore him/her and move aside.</p>
