Islamic Services of Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam

<span class="content1">&nbsp; <p>The Law-Giver (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has declared the learning of Islamic knowledge Fardh on every Muslim, but Muslims are heedless about acquiring Islamic knowledge. Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam exhorted the Muslims to do so. First of all, he appointed speakers who would guide the people and appointed personnel trained in Ahle Khidmaat Shariah to work in their respective areas. Apart from this he started a number of Madrsa. He got a list made of the Madarsa already working and got some grant released for them depending on their work and its area.</p> <p>For the construction of a Masjid Australia, Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam got a grant released of Rs. 40000 and for a Masjid in Batra another huge amount was released.</p> <strong>Asafjahi Library: </strong> <p>Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam created awareness about starting a library for the sake of the common man and the Asafjahi Library (present day State Library, Afzalgunj, Hyderabad) was started, through which the common people have benefiting ever since.</p> <strong>Dairatul Ma&rsquo;arif Al Uthmaniya: </strong> <p>For the research and publication of Arabic books, Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam established Dairatul Ma&rsquo;arif. The first book to be published from here was a monumental work in Hadith Kanzul Ummal, which Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam had got copied when he was in Madina Munawwarah at his own expense. The publication work is still going on and till dare, hundreds of rare and valuable books have been saved from being wiped out. Due to this Dairatul Ma&rsquo;arif, Hyderabad is admired the world over.</p> <strong>Majlis Ishaatul Uloom: </strong> <p>In Jamia Nizamia, Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam established a publishing house by the name of Majlis Ishatul Uloom, from which necessary Islamic books are being published. In Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam&rsquo;s time itself about 100 books had been published by this organization. Each book deserves that Muslims should read and study it.</p> <strong>Establishment of Jamia Nizamia: </strong> <p>Jamia Nizamia was established in 1292 A.H. The aim was that a group of scholars should always be present among the Muslims for spreading the teachings of Islam and preserving them. Jamia Nizamia has a hostel also in which students from foreign places stay and study. All the necessities like food, clothing, syllabus books and other things are provided by the Madarsa. This Madarsa was initially a small Maktab, Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam appointed well-versed and erudite scholars and started the Darse Nizami. Through the blessings of the teachers and the syllabus, hundreds of famous Ulama have passed out of this Madarsa. The fame of the Madarsa also reached the corners of the earth and students from Afghanistan, Baluchistan, Bukhara, Punjab, Bengal etc. came here and graduated.</p> <p>Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Islam has written a dream of a saint in Maqasid Ul Islam, 4th Volume, which shows the acceptance of Jamia Nizamia by the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). A saint saw in a dream that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is seated and is ordering that the certificates of the Jamia be placed before Him, so that He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) may sign them. This is all the grace of Allah SWT.</p> </span>
