Different types of Tawaf


<strong>Different types of Tawaf </strong> <p>There are 7 types of Tawaf:</p> <p>1. Tawaf Qudum <br /> 2. Tawaf Ziyarah <br /> 3. Tawaf Wada&rsquo;a <br /> 4. Tawaf &lsquo;Umrah <br /> 5. Tawaf Nafl <br /> 6. Tawaf Tahiyyatul Masjid <br /> 7. Tawaf Nadhar <br /> &nbsp;</p> <strong>Tawaf Qudum: </strong> <p>This Tawaf is for those who come from outside Meeqat (Aafaqi), which are the boundaries from which you cannot proceed for Haj/Umrah without Ihram. It is a Sunnah for those who are performing Haj Ifrad and Haj Qiran. This is also called Tawaf Tahiyya and Tawaf Ul Liqa.</p> <strong>Tawaf Ziyarah: </strong> <p>This is also called Tawaf Rukn, Tawaf Wajib and Tawaf Yaum Un Nahr. This is an article of Haj. The Haj is not complete without this. The time for this from the dawn of 10th Dhul Hijjah to 12th Dhul Hijjah. Dam (sacrifice of an animal) becomes Wajib on delay.</p> <strong>Tawaf Wada&rsquo;a: </strong> <p>This is also called Tawaf Sadar and Tawaf Rukhsat. This is Wajib on &ldquo;Aafaqi.&rdquo; The time for this starts after Tawaf Ziyarah and there is no last time for this. It can be performed anytime in life. However, it is Afdhal to perform it while leaving Makkah Mukarramah.</p> <strong>Tawaf &lsquo;Umrah: </strong> <p>This Tawaf is Fardh in &lsquo;Umrah.</p> <strong>Tawaf Nafl: </strong> <p>This can be performed anytime. For an &ldquo;Aafaqi,&rdquo; this Tawaf is better than offering Nafl Salaat. The privilege of Tawaf cannot be gained anywhere, so while in Makkah Mukarramah, perform as much Tawaf as you can.</p> <strong>Tawaf Tahiyyatul Masjid: </strong> <p>This Tawaf is Mustahab (commendable) for those enter Masjid Haraam.</p> <strong>Tawaf Nadhar: </strong> <p>This Tawaf is Wajib on those who make a Nadhar (promise) that they will perform Tawaf.</p> <strong>Note: </strong> <p>As per Fiqh Hanafi, it is Wajib to perform 2 Raka&rsquo;at Wajib Ut Tawaf after every Tawaf.</p>
