brotherhood. He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) united all those who had fallen prey to discord because of their mutual enmity and their ignorance. He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) gave such a lesson of brotherhood, love and sympathy to those people who would snatch the rights of others in the name of nationality, caste, creed, color, etc., that hearts of stone were softened and even sworn enemies became brothers.

The whole creation is the family of Allah Ta’ala and equal as a human being, everybody is equal. No matter where Muslims live, their bond of brotherhood is the most superior and strong among all other bonds/relationships.

Surah Hujuraat-10

These are the words of Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi Qadri, Professor, Islamic Law, Jamia Nizamia and Founder/Director Abul Hasanaat Islamic Research Center in the weekly lecture at Masjid Abul Hasanaat, Jahanuma, Hyderabad.

Mufti Sahab said that as long as a droplet of water is all alone, its status is known to one and all. The wind can carry it away and the rays of the sun can destroy it. However, when the same droplet of water enters the ocean, its power is incalculable. One solitary droplet of water can join the ocean and take the form of the wave. It is then counted as of the ocean.

Mufti Sahab quoted a Hadith from Sahih Bukhari:

You see the Muslims. In being merciful with each other, loving each other and valuing each other’s feelings and emotions, they are like one body. When one part of the body is hurt, then the whole body stays awake and is feverish. (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 6011)

All the parts of the body are not made the same. Each part has its own status and its own special power. The brain is the king and the heart is the powerhouse, but even the smallest toe is hurt, it affects both the brain and the heart. The brain does not say that I am the chief of all organs, so I will not get involved in the agony of the toe and neither the heart says that I supply blood to the whole body, so I will not get involved in the torment of the toe. Thus, by declaring the Muslims as one body, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) that regardless of whether the Muslim is a ruler or one among the ruled, a king or a subject, strong or weak, they should value each other’s feelings and should help each other in times of difficulty and/or need.
<p other.

Mufti Sahab said that in a building, the foundation, the floor, roof, basement, doors, windows, etc., each have a different function, but by mutually cooperating, they strengthen each other. In the same way, if Muslims stand united, they strengthen each other.

If even one small brick is removed from the building, it affects the beauty of the building. In the same way, if any person is considered lowly and separated, the same person might eventually hurt us.

The base of the building is its foundation. It is not visible to all. In the same way, there should be some people with us who should covertly help the Ummah and strengthen the community.

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Whoever fulfills the need of any person of my Ummah through which he desires to make him happy, then in fact, he has pleased me and whoever has pleased me has pleased Allah Ta’ala and whoever pleases Allah Ta’ala, He will enter that person into Jannah. (Zujajatul Masabeeh)
