Marriage with a Qadiani


<p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="font-family:Verdana">If the groom and/or bride are actually Sunni Muslims and believe that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is the last and final Prophet and also believe that Mirza Ghulam Qadiani is a defector and out of the fold of Islam, then he/she will be considered a Muslim and the rules of Muslims will apply to them.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Thus, their marriage with a Muslim is permissible, regardless of whether the entire family of the groom and/or bride is Qadiani.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="font-family:Verdana">If someone has been a Qadiani before marriage, then the marriage itself is not valid and as such, the couple are not husband and wife and should immediately separate.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>As given in Durre Mukhtaar, and Kanz Ud Daqaaiq.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL" style="mso-ascii-font-family:Verdana; mso-hansi-font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="font-family:Verdana">If they were Muslims before marriage and after marriage, either of them became a Qadiani, then immediately the marriage is dissolved.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>As given in Durre Mukhtaar, Babi Nikahil Kafir, Hidayah, Kitab Un Nikah, Babi Nikah Ahle shirk.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL" style="mso-ascii-font-family:Verdana; mso-hansi-font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="font-family:Verdana">The children will be considered to be Muslims after the parent who is a Muslim.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>As given in Radd Ul Muhtaar, Babi Nikahil Kafir.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL" style="mso-ascii-font-family:Verdana; mso-hansi-font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="font-family:Verdana">If either of the parents becomes Qadiani, then their parentage is not nullified and the children will be considered to be their children only.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>There are many examples in the era of the Companions that in spite of their fathers still being non-Muslim, their parentage was not negated.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL" style="mso-ascii-font-family:Verdana; mso-hansi-font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="font-family:Verdana">If a Muslim girl herself marries the Muslim children of this couple, then the issue of &ldquo;Kufu&rdquo; (suitability) remains.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>If the parents/guardians permit this marriage, then this issue is dealt with.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="font-family:Verdana">When it is feared that because of living in a Qadiani family and society, the groom/bride will start leaning towards Qadianism, then efforts should be made to remove the groom from that society with complete safety of his faith, beliefs and life and to place him in a truly Islamic and Muslim society.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span lang="AR-SA" dir="RTL" style="mso-ascii-font-family:Verdana; mso-hansi-font-family:Verdana">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" dir="LTR" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi: embed"><span style="font-family:Verdana">If it is feared that if the marriage is not performed, this person will turn into a Qadiani, then he should not be left in the Qadiani society.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>Arrangements should be made for proper instruction of the young man in the beliefs and tenets of Islam.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>In the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), if anyone embraced Islam, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) would not leave them in their non-Muslim society, but He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) would perform their marriage with other Muslim ladies.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span>There are various examples of this in the books of Seerah of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">&nbsp; </span></span></p>
