In the army of the Indian emperor also Shaykh Badiuddin, his famous caliph, was busy in guiding people. Thousands of people had become his disciples. Most of the royal officials gave their pledge to him. People started disliking un-Islamic activities. Eventually this news also reached the Prime Minister Asif Khan, who was a Rafdhi. Before this also, he had heard about Hadhrat Imam Rabbani (May Allah shower His mercy on him). Imam Rabbani (May Allah shower His mercy on him) took a lot of interest in refuting falsehoods. He had written a booklet titled, “Radd-e-Rawafidh.” The prime minister didn’t like the stay of Shaykh Badiuddin with the army. He was searching for a chance to hurt him. One day, he was alone with the king. He took the chance and said: Sir! He has sent hundreds of his caliphs to various countries. Millions of people have become disciples of his caliphs. One caliph of his is present in our army as well. Most royal officials, Khan-e-khanan, Syed Sadar Jahan, Khan-e-Jahan, Khan-e-Azam, Mahabat Khan, etc. have become his disciples. Now, I have learnt that he has readied 100,000 cavalry and innumerable infantry. I fear that something else might happen. I propose that all his disciples should be transferred to far off places.

The emperor liked this advice. The very next day, he set up court and sent away Khan-e-khanan to Deccan, Syed Sadar Jahan to Bengal, Mahabat Khan to Kabul and similarly 400 disciples of Shaykh Badiuddin were sent away to far off places. He sent this letter to the governor of Sirhind and emphasized that he should deliver this letter personally.

There all this was happening and here, Hadhrat Imam Rabbani (May Allah shower His mercy on him) was describing all these events to his disciples and attendants. One day, he said that there is no Prophet who has not been troubled by people, that there is saint who has not been embroiled in difficulties and the level of difficulties is the extent of love. Then he said: Our conditions and deeds are nothing in comparison to the conditions and difficulties of the saints, but no Prophet, be it Hadhrat Yousuf or Hadhrat Ayyub (May peace be upon them), unless they savor divine awe, their divine paths are not traversed. Now divine will seems to be this for us as well. We will also savor divine awe.

The governor of Sirhind came with the royal epistle.
