Check on lewd gazing- A way to end indecency

If there are restrictions posed on this prime factor of indecency in the aforementioned manner ordered by the Holy Quran and Hadith, we will succeed in wiping out indecency from the as the first phase of indecency is lewd gazing.  Then Unrelated (non-Mahram) girls and boys start talking to each other and their relation develops illicitly.  If the first rung of this chain is checked, then there will no chance of conversation nor will the situation worsen further.  That’s the reason the Beloved Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has given severe warnings on gazing at an Unrelated (non-Mahram) woman.  The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has said

Translation: Whosoever looks at an Unrelated (non-Mahram) woman with lust, on the Day of Judgment, molten lead would be poured in his eyes.  (Hidayah, Kitab Ul Karahiyya, Vol. 4, Pg. No. 458)

A small speck of dust in our eyes makes us restless.  If a teeny-weeny insect goes into it, the agony is even more pronounced.  Can a helpless being like this one bear the pouring of molten lead in his (or her) eyes?  Never.

The status of a believer is such that he (or she) lowers his gaze and shouldn’t violate his eyes by gazing at impermissible objects, because if he gets involved in lewd gazing, his thoughts will not stay the same anymore. Indecency and anarchic thought take root in the mind and intellect.
