The Mercies of Allah Most High on those recite Durood

The Mercies of Allah Most High on those recite Durood

It is related in Waseelatul Udhma: The person who sneezes and says:  Alhamdullillahi ala kulli haalin maa kaana min haalin and then recites Durood on Me and My progeny, Allah Most High creates a bird from that person’s left nostril, bigger than a fly and smaller than a locust, which flies under the ‘Arsh (of the Lord Almighty) and says:  O Allah!  Forgive the person who glorifies You and sends greetings on Your Prophet.

This is related by Ibn Bashkawaal.

Imam Sakhawi (May Allah shower His Mercy on him) has written in Al Qaul Ul Bad’ee that the chain of narration of this Hadith is fair enough but there is Yazeed bin Abi Zyad about whom most have written that he is a weakly-authenticated narrator.  However Imam Muslim (May Allah shower His Mercy on him) has related Hadith from him underneath other Hadith.

Now, some discussions are being related here.  If the readers keep them in mind, it is hoped that they would succeed at many (such) places.

The first discussion

It might be that some people are thinking how a bird could be born out of words.  The answer to this is that we have never thought on these lines.  Apart from believing in the Power of the Lord Almighty, there is such a process before our very eyes which is answering to this.

Just think of it.  The food that we consume every day – it produces blood, etc. and some other bodily fluids are produced which help humans reproduce.  Just have a look at them.  What connection do vegetables, etc. have with humankind that they reproduce with their help?

In the same way, many other strengths of the body depend on food although they don’t have anything to share.
