THE IMAM OF THE PROPHETS

<span class="content1"><strong>The Imam of the Prophets</strong> <br /> <br /> Hadhrat JIbrail (pbuh) took the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) with him to Masjid Aqsa. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) says that, all the Prophets were gathered there. I first saw a tall, handsome elder. I asked Jibrail who is this elder? JIbrail said, this is your father, Prophet Adam. I greeted him with Salaam and he lovingly returned My Salaam. Then I saw another elder. His head (hair) was white and his face was similar to mine. I asked the same about him. JIbrail answered, this is your grandfather Prophet Ibrahim (Peace be upon him). Then I saw another tall elder and asked about him, he was Prophet Moosa, the Kaleemullah (peace be upon him). Like this, one after the other, I met all other Prophets. After these meetings, Jibrail gave the Adhaan.<br /> <br /> The doors of the skies opened with this Adhaan and angels descended in such numbers that the whole Masjid, the whole forest, even the earth and the skies became full of them. Then the Jibrail said the Takbeer and the rows straightened. All the Prophets and the angels stood in the rows for the Salaat. But until this time, the place for the Imam was still empty. There was no Imam on the prayer-mat and nobody dared to move forward and take the place on the prayer-mat. But every Prophet desired to lead the Salaat then.<br /> <br /> Hadhrat Jibrail came out of the rows, held the hand of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and said: O Imam of the earlier ones and later ones! Please take your place on the prayer-mat. Whom are You waiting for? Will somebody better than You come. I have roamed from east to west, from north to south and from earth to the heavens. I swear by Allah SWT! There is no one better than You.<br /> <br /> I have roamed the whole world. I have seen those who are loved by Allah SWT, I have met many great personalities, but You are apart from everybody else. I have not found anyone like You. For the leading (Imamat) of today's Salaat, You are the only one. Saying this, he made the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) stand on the prayer-mat. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) lead a 2 raka'at Salaat. When the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) ended the Salaat, Jibrail said: O Prophet of Allah! Who are there behind You? The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: I don't know. Jibrail said: !24,000 Prophets and all the Prophets who had been given Shariah (Rasul) and all the angesl of the seven heavens are present behind you in this Salaat.<br /> <br /> <strong>The Khutba of all the Prophets</strong> <br /> <br /> <strong>Prophet Ibrahim </strong><br /> <br /> After this all the Prophets formed a circle around the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alahi wa sallam). First, what Prophet Ibrahim (Peace be upon him) said as a Khutba is this: Thanks be to the Lord, who gave me the station of &quot; Khaleel,&quot; who cooled the fire of Namrud for me, and who created many Prophets in my progeny.<br /> <br /> <strong>Prophet Moosa</strong> <br /> <br /> After him, Hadhrat Moosa (Peace be upon him) stood and said: Alhamdulillah! Allah SWT who gave the honor of talking with Him, who destroyed Firoun at my hands, who saved Bani Israil from his tortures and who showed many miracles on my hands.<br /> <br /> <strong>Prophet Dawood</strong> <br /> <br /> After him Hadhrat Dawood (Peace be upon him) stood and said: Alhamdulillah! Allah SWT gave kingship and revealed the Tauret (Torah) to me, who made iron soft on my hands, who made mountains and forests easy for me and who taught me to judge with wisdom.<br /> <br /> <strong>Prophet Sulaiman</strong> <br /> <br /> After him Hadhrat Sulaiman (Peace be upon him) stood and said: Alhamdulillah! Allah SWT made the air follow my command, who made humans, Jinns and animals obey me, who taught me the languages of the animals and gave me a large kingdom.<br /> <br /> <strong>Prophet Isa </strong><br /> <br /> After him Hadhrat Isa (Peace be upon him) stood and said: Alhamdulillah! Allah SWT created me with His command, who taught me the Tauret and Zaboor without a teacher, I would mold a bird out of clay, blew into and make it fly (i.e. give it life), I would make a blind person normal and make a leper fine, I would make the dead walk and by the order of the Lord, Satan stayed away from me and I was lifted to the heavens alive.<br /> <br /> <strong>Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)</strong> <br /> <br /> After him, our Master, Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) stood and spoke: Each Prophet praised Allah SWT! Now I'll also say something. Alhamdulillahi rabbil aalameen! All praise is for Allah SWT! who sent Me as a Mercy for all the worlds, made Me alone the Prophet and the Giver of Guidance for the whole world, who revealed to Me, the Holy Quran, which completely separates between right and wrong. In this Quran, Allah SWT has given each and every kind of principle. Allah SWT has opened my bosom, has joined My mention with His mention (Dhikr), no place is empty of My mention, who gave me Prophethood first of all and sent last of all as the seal of all Prophets, who gave the title of Rauf and Raheem, who made My Ummah superior to all other Ummah, gave My whole Ummah the station of Prophethood i.e. the duty of spreading the good and stopping the wrong, who sent My Ummah last of all, but will forgive them on the day of Qiyamah and will send them into Jannah first of all. <br /> <br /> <strong>The Judgment of Prophet Ibrahim </strong><br /> <br /> When the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) finished, Hadhrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) said, as a judgment: O group of Prophets! Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has descirbed such virtues of Himself, that without a doubt, He is the best of all and has left behind everyone else, because what the earlier Prophets said was all to end or which would only affect the physical body, as the miracles of the Prophets Sulaiman and Dawood (Peace be upon them), they were all perishable. On the other hand, the virtues and miracles of Hadhrat Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) are all spiritual and will never end and Hadhrat has got His Ummah a great status as well.
